1. Minimum 90-Day Warranty

All items sold on Auto Part Search are required to come with a minimum 90-day limited warranty provided by the supplier.

  • Coverage: This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
  • Duration: The warranty period begins on the date the item is delivered to the buyer.
  • Remedy: If a product is found to be defective within this 90-day window, the supplier is obligated to provide a repair, a replacement, or a full refund at their discretion.

2. Supplier-Specific Warranties

While the marketplace requires a 90-day minimum, many of our suppliers offer extended warranties (e.g., 1 year, or lifetime).

  • Check the Listing: You should always review the specific warranty terms of the product listing page before purchasing.
  • Precedence: If a supplier offers a warranty longer than 90 days, that longer period will take precedence. If a supplier fails to state a warranty, the marketplace-mandated 90-day minimum applies by default.

3. What is Not Covered

Unless otherwise stated by the specific supplier, this baseline 90-day warranty typically does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or abuse.
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., batteries, light bulbs, or cosmetic scratches).
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
  • Accidental damage, theft, or loss.

4. How to Make a Claim

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Contact the Supplier: Reach out to the supplier directly via Auto Part Search accounts dashboard.
  2. Provide Proof: You will likely be asked to provide your order number, a description of the defect, and photos or video evidence of the issue.
  3. Marketplace Support: If a supplier fails to honor the 90-day minimum warranty, please contact support@autopartsearch.com for assistance in resolving the dispute.
